Walk and Talk

Walk and Talk was launched to address the isolation many women face and to provide an  space for them to connect, stay active, and embrace the outdoors. Walking together helps not just physical well-being but also emotional and social connection.

Our walking routes include beautiful locations such as Burnham Beeches, Windsor, Richmond Park, various London parks, Kent, the Peak District, and more. We also organise weekend trips to explore new trails outside of the London area.

Feedback has shown that many women feel underrepresented in mainstream walking groups, and An-Nisa’s initiative is here to change that. Open to all adult women, Muslim and non-Muslim, who respect the Muslim way of life, these walks provide a safe and welcoming environment for women to connect and grow together.

Held monthly, the walks are guided by our Chair, Farkhanda, who is also a qualified Walk Leader. They serve as a gateway to building a stronger community, one step at a time. Join us on our Meetup page: An-Nisa Meetup

Would you like to help facilitate walks or volunteer to support this initiative? We’re always looking for passionate individuals who want to make a difference. Get in touch with us to learn how you can contribute.
